Sweden...1 day's drive from the Netherlands. Drive away early in the morning...coffee here in the evening. The house is located on a street in the middle of nature. A rural atmosphere, wonderfully quiet, with a beautiful view and yet close to a number of larger places. There is ample opportunity to be active if you want. Fishing, cycling, walking, swimming, horse riding, canoeing and of course shopping. Pick berries and mushrooms in the fall...in the winter there are ski slopes that you can visit. Museums and amusement parks can be found in all shapes and sizes. During your rental period, there are no other tenants present and you have the house to yourself.
The picturesque scenery of Småland consists of red wooden houses, green forests, glistening lakes and jetty-lined seas under a clear blue sky. Småland is one of Sweden’s largest provinces. It is dominated by forested highlands, with gigantic forests and reclaimed plains in the south. Oh, and a beautiful east coast with an archipelago of ‘seeing is believing’. Plus some 5,000 lakes for fishing, swimming and canoeing. Or just for a nice lazy picnic. Not bad for a ‘small country’.
